MY LIFE EXPERIENCE IN LIFE IN AFRICA- JOVITA KOMUHANGI

When I joined LIA, my life was not okay. I really needed help. I had lost my husband; I had no job, with two children to cater for, who were going to school.

I didn’t know what to do, I found people who had similar problems, whom I was able to identify with. This helped me to stop straining and worrying so much.
We started working together as I discovered my talents.

M y next step was to work hard and working on learning new tips that I didn’t know, so that I can be able to bring about positive changes in the community and my family.

WISE AFRICAN LIVING PROVERB

PROVERB….’The energy that is together breaks the bones.’

I learned this proverb from my mother .The cultural meaning is that, when people work together in unity and peace they can succeed. It originated in African traditions, especially people used to be united in harvesting crops and also used it to solve some of their issues. It calls for unity. One of the things I want to learn is to be able to work towards unity in every thing I do especially in the community settings.

MONTHLY EARNING;
1) Textile and design(fabrics) and 300000/= per month
2) Sweaters-causal and for school


MONTHLY EXPENDITURE
1) House rent
2) Food other small items
3) School fees
4) Medical bills

NB:
For the above aspects I spend only 60000/=, most of them are being catered for by other people in my life.
